Our team is challenged to support our clients amidst community opposition, environmental liabilities, energy transition initiatives, and shareholder activism. Our growing business is looking for a talented, motivated, and passionate environmental consultant (senior-level position) to join our innovative high-performing team. We work one to three days a week in our Houston office and 2-4 days a week from home with some opportunities for work travel, as allowed per project. Following the first year of employment, we have unlimited Paid Time Off. We are a collaborative team that supports each other as we deliver work for our clients. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and competencies:

– 10 + years of environmental consulting experience

– BS/ MS degree in environmental science or related field

– Strong professional work ethic, initiative, and integrity

• Project experience should include:
• Work with Nature-based Solutions projects
• Biodiversity Plans
• Impact Assessments including
• leading EIA, baseline studies, due diligence assessment, and related services

– Project and program management experience

– Strong client relations capabilities

– Willingness to occasionally travel to and work in developing countries on short (normally one week or less) assignments

– Previous international experience working on extractive and/or development projects

– Ability to provide direction to teams of experts from partner companies in other countries

– Ability to accomplish work assignments without extensive direction

– Ability to communicate in foreign language(s) is a strong plus; preferably fluent in French

– Mining industry experience and contacts also a strong plus
