Description:

Acorn International is currently supporting offshore wind development in Massachusetts and is seeking to contract a stakeholder engagement / communications management specialist to support community outreach (e.g. public meetings, focus groups, community events, and other media).  The ideal person would have a background in coordinating public engagement, outreach, and communications programs for energy/power industry or comparable developments, good contacts in southeast Massachusetts and/or Cape Cod and the islands, and the ability to write letters/public notices and prepare material to support public/stakeholder meetings.  At least 5 years of related experience.
