Acorn International Announces Relocation of Senior Consultant to Colombia

Acorn International is pleased to announce the relocation of Senior Consultant Paula Uscategui Leyva from our Houston office to our Colombia branch in Bogota as of August 1. Paula will be leading a number of important strategic social and environmental performance projects for which Acorn International has been engaged to deliver for industries and investors in Colombia, and will help manage our growing business in country. One of her first tasks will be to open a physical office to support our activities, based in Bogota.

Acorn International’s President, Dean Slocum, is delighted with the move. “We’re going to miss Paula’s energy and talents in Houston, but I’m pleased that she has this opportunity to help lead a growing part of our business, and to be in a location where she can better focus on a number of critical assignments.” Paula said: “It is a very interesting and challenging task for me, both personally and professionally. I am eager to work towards providing strategic and world-class services in Colombia, aiming to improve social and environmental performance throughout different industries“.
